I had a complicated Immigration case with a history of over 20 years. I got married in 1986 with a US Citizen and entered with my Immigrant Visa in 1987. However, before I removed conditions on my green card on my Immigrant status we were separated. I jointly filed the I-751 application but did not pursue it as my ex wife did not go to the interview. I went to an Immigration Attorney couple of years later after remarrying. He filed a new Adjustment of status application for me which was denied. After that I lost trust in immigration process and Immigration lawyers until I met Sunita Kapoor. She understood my case and she filed I-751 application to remove conditions on my green card with the late filing memo. With many other complications present on my case and the delay of over 20 years of filing I-751, I was surprised that I received my permanent Green Card with the date resident since 1987 which makes me eligible for Citizenship right away. This was Unbelievable miracle for me. I cannot describe how happy I am.
Thank you Sunita for your awesome work.. you are the best Immigration Lawyer I have ever known!
"Ms Kapoor and her staff are first rate. Have used their expert services for over three years on multiple issues and they are always prompt with workable solutions--Excellent Service!"
Mr. & Mrs. Peterson
My name is N. Ogbu. On Dec of 2009, I called Sunita Kapoor's office because I wanted her to file my VAWA case. She was so attentive to my problem and was willing to work with me. She helped me file all my paper work on a timely manner and by February of 2010 all my paper work was filed and submitted. By May of 2010, I got my work permit. On November of 2010 my interview came we went there together and came out successful. I got my Green card. I thank god every day for calling her because if it wasn’t for her, I could not have gotten my green card. I will be in the same boat that I was 10 years ago. For the out of status people out there, who had been in a battered relationship and other immigration problems with no hope or nowhere to turn to, know that there is a hope and people like Sunita and her legal team will treat you like a person not a number like other law firms out there. D.o as long as you are honest and truthful you shall prevail.
Dear Sunita, I sincerely want to thank you for helping me out when USCIS had rejected my H4 extension and had asked me to leave the country and I had unintentionally overstayed and didn't new what to do. She provided me the best guidance and help as how to handle the situation although she was not the one who had filed for my extension.
I still remember the day when I had tears in my eyes holding up the USCIS letter and she talking it out to me that things would be fine , telling me exactly what needs to be done .She was very patient in hearing out my case details and provided me the best possible solution
You are the best , one thank you is just not enough to tell you how much your help really meant to me.
Thank you so very very much.
Ms. Charlene Quah
Thanks for the unexpectedly quick reply ! The wheels are turning and I thank you from the bottom of my heart !
"Sunita Thereja Kapoor and her legal immigration team are absolute stalwarts! They are professional, highly knowledgable and yet compassionate.
I am going through the process of a RFE on my wife's pending I485 application. The RFE was issued because my wife went out of status for a period of 2 years quite some time back as her dependant work visa was not filed due to a clerical oversight. Sunita and her team worked diligently to come up with the right strategy on how to address this and the first step has been to file a nunc pro tunc (retroactive) H4 for the missing period. The nunc pro tunc H4 has now been approved thanks to the dedicated work from Sunita and her team. I have been really impressed by the attention to details, abiility to come up with creative solutions and providing a very human touch to all aspects of the professional relationship.
And it might be worth adding that I stumbled upon Sunita's firm after 2 of the rather established immigration law firms in the country had said that ours was a pretty lost case and we would have to try a different approach altogether which would have meant me being separated from my family for a year or, more. Here's hoping that we make it all the way through to achieving permanent residency for my wife with support from Sunita and her team.
I would highly recommend Sunita Thereja Kapoor and her team for your legal immigration needs!"
